                                                          What We Believe...

Fountains of Life Ministries
is a supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist church. We hold dear the beliefs of our church, including the following:

We believe in:
  1. Jesus Christ as our Savior, and God in the flesh
  2. The Bible as the inspired word of God, and our ultimate authority
  3. The literal second coming of Jesus Christ, seen by all
  4. That idea that humans are but mortal by nature
  5. Death as an unconscious sleep
  6. The resurrection of the righteous dead at the second coming of Jesus Christ
  7. The death of the wicked being eternal, and that they will not burn forever, but be consumed root and branch
  8. Righteousness by faith, shown forth by good works
  9. The Ten Commandments as the standard by which all will be judged, and in their validity today
  10. The seventh-day Sabbath (Saturday), and that it has never been changed. We believe all Christians are under obligation to keep it
  11. The support of the organized Seventh-day Adventist church, through our tithes, and supporting the spread of the gospel through our offerings
  12. Baptism, by immersion
  13. Our bodies as the temple of God, and we are to be good stewards of them, by guarding what we eat, drink, how we dress, what we watch, read, and listen to
  14. The views of the organized Seventh-day Adventist church, regarding time prophecies, and all other kinds of prophecies. We strongly believe in the gift of prophecy
  15. The abstinence from movements of spiritual formation, including certain types of prayer and spiritual disciplines, which we feel are dangerous
  16. Holding the views of the organized SDA church in regards to the ancient levitical laws and statutes
  17. The humanity of Jesus as being like Adam after his fall, yet without sin
  18. The holy trinity, united, yet as three separate persons, each holding a different position, yet each occupying the position as God
  19. The inspired writings of Mrs. Ellen G. White, including all the blessings of counsel, reproof and instruction; we believe that each book holds its validity, even in our day
